This steering linkage and servo horn set is intended for the Axial Racing Yeti XL platform. The kit pairs a spring steel anti-thread tie rod with an aluminium servo horn for 25T spline output shafts, supplied as direct-replacement upgrade components that prioritise fit and wear resistance.

Installation uses the model's original mounting points and hardware without requiring chassis changes. The tie rod forms the primary steering connection between knuckles or steering blocks, while the horn mounts to a 25T spline servo output to transmit servo motion to the linkage. These components change material stiffness and interface durability but leave the chassis steering geometry intact.

From a setup perspective, a firmer tie rod material and a machined aluminium horn can reduce in-service slop and improve perceived robustness versus softer stock parts. Fit as a like-for-like substitution: confirm servo spline count, check for clearance against suspension and shock bodies, and verify unobstructed rotation through full steering travel before final torqueing.
