Precision main shaft for TT02 transmissions

This precision-machined alloy main shaft is supplied as 1 pcs for installation in Tamiya TT02 and TT02B centre transmissions. It is intended as a direct replacement for a bent or worn shaft to restore driveline concentricity and reduce vibration during operation.

Installed within the centre gearbox, the shaft transfers torque from the motor and spur gear assembly to downstream gearing. During installation verify shaft orientation, measure bearing runout, inspect gear contact surfaces, and set endplay to avoid axial binding. Retain original fasteners and retainers to preserve designed tolerances and preload characteristics.

Replacing a degraded main shaft reinstates concentric rotation and reduces cyclical loads on spur gears and bearings, which improves repeatable power transfer and component life. This component is supplied as an aftermarket upgrade or spare and does not alter chassis geometry or suspension settings.
