Precision alloy main shaft engineered for TT01

This alloy main shaft is supplied as a direct replacement component for Tamiya TT01 chassis builds and service. It functions as the drivetrain's direct-drive shaft and is intended to provide reduced operational play compared with the original stock shaft.

Removal of the factory main shaft and inspection of adjacent bearings and gear faces is required during installation. Confirm spline alignment and correct bearing seating before final torqueing, and apply the recommended thread locker and torque values from the TT01 manual; the replacement retains the original mounting geometry and does not alter gearbox layout.

For tuning and setup, a stiffer alloy main shaft alters drivetrain flex characteristics and the mechanical feedback delivered to the motor and spur gear mesh. Evaluate swap decisions by measuring existing shaft play, then validate changes with controlled test runs under representative load conditions.
