Spring-treated #45 rear axle shafts for trail use

This 4 pcs axle shaft set replaces the rear shafts on TRX4 Trail Crawler axles and is intended to transmit drive torque into the geartrain and wheels. Material selection is hardened #45 steel with a spring steel tempering stage to improve surface hardness and resistance to abrasive wear while maintaining OEM form and fit.

Dimensional fidelity is maintained with long shafts at 68.5mm and short shafts at 59.5mm; the set includes two of each length to cover both sides of the rear axle. Interface geometry and mounting features follow the original shaft layout so the parts locate in the existing axle housing and mate with the stock assembly.

From a service perspective these shafts are specified to extend life under sliding loads and low-speed torque events typical of crawling. They are intended as a direct replacement to restore proper spline engagement and reduce shaft surface degradation.

A spring steel tempering stage is applied to hardened #45 steel to raise surface hardness and improve resistance to wear and surface fatigue.
No. The shafts are produced to match original spline dimensions and mounting geometry so engagement with the stock components remains unchanged.
Check splines for wear, confirm straightness, and inspect surface for scoring after heavy use. Replace if deformation or excessive wear is detected.
