This precision aluminium motor mount and integrated upper spur case is engineered for TRX-4 platforms to stiffen motor fixation, protect the main gear and limit contaminant ingress. The single assembly reduces motor movement under load and helps retain consistent gear mesh during low speed technical crawling.

The mount provides multiple motor fixation positions for precise pinion-to-spur spacing adjustment. The design shifts the motor forward by 3mm from the stock location to produce a modest forward weight bias, a useful option when tuning traction and steering balance for crawling performance.

Made from 6061 T6 aluminium with machined finning to aid passive dissipation, the assembly is complemented by a top-mounted cooling fan to provide active airflow across the motor area. The combined passive and active cooling approach helps maintain lower operating temperatures during extended runs.

Fitting replaces the original motor mount and upper spur cover and uses the included hardware where applicable. For reliable drivetrain life, set gear mesh in small steps, inspect mesh under rotation and confirm smooth operation before full use.
