Technical 13T alloy motor pinion for 1/14 Tamiya tractor trucks

The TRU013T 13T motor gear is supplied as a single-piece CNC-machined component for Tamiya 1/14 scale tractor trucks, manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium and intended solely for RC motor and gearbox applications.

Precision and durability: engineered to accommodate both single-shaft and double-shaft rear gearbox configurations, the aluminium pinion replaces the original plastic gear to provide enhanced contact hardness and dimensional stability under load. CNC machining ensures repeatable tooth profile and consistent meshing characteristics for improved drivetrain reliability.

Fitment guidance: installs into the motor housing area and is compatible with standard 13T pinion meshes used on the listed models; confirm shaft type and axial spacing prior to installation. The alloy pinion reduces plastic wear and helps maintain gearbox behaviour during high-load scenarios such as towing or extended operation.

Included hardware and contents: 3x14 stainless steel button head screws - 8 pcs, 3x20 stainless steel button head screws - 4 pcs, and the alloy motor gear with mounting screw as supplied in the single-piece set.

Compatible Models

  • 56323 RCTR Scania R620 6*4 Highline 11050823
  • 56325 RCTR MAN TGX 26.540 XLX 11050961-001
  • 56344 RCTR Grand Hauler 11053957
  • 56335 RCTR Actros 1851 GigaSpace 11053607-001
The TRU013T is CNC-machined to tight tooth form tolerances suitable for consistent mesh with standard 13T mating gears; check final mesh and make fine motor position adjustments as needed.
The component uses 6061-T6 aluminium for structural stability; it is intended as a durable pinion offering improved rigidity over plastic equivalents rather than a hardened steel replacement.
After fitting, verify axial clearance, pinion mesh, and screw torque. Recheck motor alignment under load and inspect for any abnormal noise or binding during initial runs.
