Technical battery hold-down for XRT 8S

This aluminium mounting kit is intended for TRAXXAS platforms and sized for common 1/6 scale electric packs. Constructed from 7075-T6 to reduce base flex, the design uses snap-lock clamps combined with 3M adhesive foam pads to control battery movement under load while keeping installation direct and builder-configurable.

Installation is performed with the supplied flat head screws or the 3M adhesive pads depending on chassis access and installer preference. The snap-lock clamps provide a repeatable clamping location for typical 1/6 scale battery packs while the 7075-T6 base resists deformation that can allow pack shift. For setup, place the battery to maintain the vehicle's intended centre of gravity and secure either with screws to tapped bosses or with the adhesive pads where screw access is limited.

Use the screw or pad option to match chassis constraints and tuning goals; ensure cable routing avoids the clamp area during final assembly.
