This aluminium rear gear box bottom mount is engineered as a replacement for the TRAXXAS XO-1 chassis to provide a stiffer mounting surface beneath the rear gearbox. The design aims to maintain alignment under load while using stainless steel screws for secure, corrosion-resistant fastening.

The component emphasises accurate fit and drivetrain stability rather than purely cosmetic changes. It replaces the OEM lower mounting surface to reduce flex in the rear gearbox region during high-speed operation and demanding cornering.

Fitting requires removal of the stock bottom mount, transfer of any necessary bushings or bearings, and secure fastening with the provided stainless steel screws. Use correct hex drivers and follow standard teardown precautions for the TRAXXAS XO-1 to prevent thread damage.
