Rear axle set for XO-1

This RC-scale rear axle assembly is engineered for the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform to carry rear driveline loads and transmit wheel torque. The centre shaft is hardened steel #45 mated to a 6061 T6 aluminium housing to deliver increased rigidity while minimising mass for improved dynamic response.

The assembly uses a CVD-style connection to maintain concentric rotation under load and adopts a retractable-style layout to maintain clearance for rocker arms and rear suspension articulation. The component is intended as an upgrade to standard rear driveline parts where enhanced stiffness and precise fitment are required.

Love the shafts nice and beefy compared to stock and look great but needs to have a better design to keep the pins in other than the flimsy spring like Guards to keep them in my pins keep popping and sliding out from the high torque and speed.
Confirm the XO-1 rear mounting points and bearing seats align with the axle housing before final installation; minor trimming of non-structural components may be needed on modified chassis.
Hardened #45 steel offers high yield for the axle shaft while 6061 T6 aluminium provides a strong, lightweight housing with predictable fatigue properties for repeated use.
Use the supplied fasteners, check CVD rotation for binding, apply threadlocker where appropriate for metal-to-metal joints, and torque fasteners to standard RC specs to ensure long term reliability.
