Engineered Aluminium Main Chassis for XO-1 Tuning

This precision aftermarket 4mm aluminium main chassis plate is produced as an upgrade for compatibility with the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform and is supplied as a single set with stainless steel mounting screws. The thicker aluminium plate provides a stiffer reference chassis to aid consistent tuning of suspension and weight distribution.

Careful installation ensures correct alignment: position motor and gearbox mounts before final torqueing, use the appropriate hex driver for the supplied screws, and tighten incrementally to avoid thread stripping or plate deformation. Increased chassis rigidity changes handling characteristics, so adjust spring rates and damping to maintain optimal mechanical grip and balance.

Intended as an aftermarket hop-up for 1/7 to 1/8 scale XO-1 based speed models for hobbyist and track tuning applications. Not for use on real vehicles.

Just finished building a 4-tec 2.0 with GPM parts. SOOO beautiful. After having a bad experience building a wltoys this summer it was nice to once again do another build using GPM parts. The website is nothing to brag about but, the parts are top quality.

Very good service. Website is nice, simple, and easy to navigate. Order processing went fast and shipping was extremely well-handled. With mail notifications each step of the way. The extra packaging option is definitely worth the money for overseas shipp
One 4mm aluminium main chassis plate and the supplied stainless steel mounting screws are included in the package.
Ensure motor and gearbox alignment, use the correct hex tool, tighten in stages and check for clearance to adjacent components to prevent interference or distortion.
A 4mm aluminium plate raises overall chassis stiffness, which provides a more predictable platform for suspension tuning but may require stiffer spring or damper settings to retain traction in some conditions.
Confirm screw torque, drivetrain alignment, and clearance to suspension components; perform a measured test run and adjust suspension tuning to compensate for the change in stiffness.
