Rear aluminium damper kit for TRX UDR

This rear spring damper kit is engineered for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer platform. Two aluminium-bodied rear dampers are supplied to reduce internal friction and manage impact loads, promoting a more controlled rear end during off-road operation.

The specification increases coil wire thickness from 1.8mm to 2mm while maintaining compatibility with standard springs for tuning flexibility, and ups the shock shaft from 3.5mm to 5mm to improve resistance to bending under load. The aluminium cylinder and tightly seated spring retainer are intended to limit oil seepage during repeated service cycles.

These dampers are recommended where firmer rear damping is required for coarse surfaces and high-speed desert runs. Installation follows common shock service steps and tuning uses shock oil grades, spring selection and preload settings to achieve the desired ride height and damping characteristic.
