Front L-shape piggy back damper assembly for performance tuning

Technical front L-shape piggy back spring dampers engineered for the TRAXXAS 1/7 Unlimited Desert Racer chassis. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminium, the matched left and right units include piston springs and a nominal 135mm shock length intended for precise front-end compliance and impact control on the model.

The components are built to reduce frictional resistance and control oil pressure at the front damper area, helping the vehicle retain balance during dynamic operation. Spring preload is adjusted at the top spring retainer while damping is regulated by the red screw on the bottom of the negative pressure oil cylinder, enabling repeatable tuning of spring rate and damping without altering the chassis mounting points.

Installation follows the standard front shock mount locations for the Unlimited Desert Racer and the set is supplied as a matched pair to ensure symmetric suspension geometry during setup and testing.
