The GPM aluminium front spring dampers for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer are designed to reduce friction and better distribute pressure through the front suspension. Key revisions focus on component strength and seal integrity to extend service intervals and maintain consistent damping under aggressive use.

Technical Features

• Thickened Coil: Coil diameter is increased from 1.8mm to 2mm to deliver firmer spring action while retaining compatibility with original springs for alternative tuning.
• Sturdy Damper Shaft: Shaft diameter is upgraded from 3.5mm to 5mm to reduce flex and improve resistance to bending during hard impacts.
• Lightweight Aluminum Cylinder: The aluminium damper cylinder balances low mass with structural strength and uses a tightly sealed spring retainer to minimise oil leakage.
• L-Shape Piggy Back Reservoir: The L-shape piggy back reservoir increases oil travel distance to stabilise damping characteristics across repeated cycles.
