GPM Rear Dampers with Reinforced Components

The GPM Aluminum 6061-T6 Rear L-shape Piggy Back Adjustable Spring Dampers are engineered to raise durability and tuning range for serious RC setups. Reinforced shafts and thicker springs work with the alloy body and sealed shock cap to keep damping consistent under repeated impacts.

Technical Highlights

• Spring diameter increased from 1.8mm to 2mm to enhance load support while maintaining compatibility with the original spring for alternate damping profiles.
• Damper shaft diameter improved from 3.5mm to 5mm to reduce deflection and improve structural reliability.
• Aluminum 6061-T6 construction combined with a shock-absorb cap provides a secure seal to reduce oil loss.
• The L-shape piggy back arrangement includes a piston spring for adjustable rebound, allowing fine control of pressure load distribution across the suspension.

Tuning and Servicing Notes

These dampers are intended to lower friction and absorb compressive forces to stabilise ride balance. Spring preload is adjusted via the top spring retainer and rebound can be tuned with the red screw at the bottom of the negative pressure oil cylinder to achieve the desired damping response.
