304 stainless skid protection engineered for Desert Racer

The UDRZSP567 delivers an 18pc skid plate solution using 1mm and 2mm 304 stainless steel plates tailored for Traxxas 1:7 Unlimited Desert Racer Pro-Scale models. Plates are positioned across front, centre and rear chassis locations to minimise direct impact to the chassis shell and battery cover during aggressive off-road running.

Supplied mounting hardware supports direct replacement of the original plastic guards or the addition of a metal reinforcement layer. Two POM collars are included to sit between a protection plate and the rear axle case to stabilise mounts, and double-sided tape sections are pre-applied around the battery cover area to assist adhesion during fitting.

Installation follows simple removal of the original screws at the plate locations, placement of the stainless plates and securing with the supplied round head and flat head screws. Use the POM collars where indicated to prevent contact with moving components. For improved tape bond, prepare the chassis surface by cleaning and drying, then warm the tape and battery cover briefly before applying pressure.
