Precision centre wear plate

A CNC-style aftermarket wear plate for the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer 1:7, produced from 1mm 304 stainless steel. The component covers the central underbody to reduce direct abrasion to the chassis rails and battery cover during sand and gravel operation while preserving low mass.

Installation follows a simple procedure: remove original battery cover fasteners, align the plate over the centre chassis and secure with the supplied flat head screws. Double-sided tape is supplied around the battery cover area to stabilise the plate during initial fitting; for consistent bonding clean and dry the surface and apply heat to the tape to enhance adhesion prior to final torqueing of screws.

The metal finish gives a consistent interface under the chassis and is intended as a wear surface and mounting face rather than a structural reinforcement. Use periodic fastener inspections after abrasive runs to maintain secure attachment and reliable fitment.

Assemble with the supplied screws and tape, verify alignment before final tightening and inspect fasteners and adhesive after abrasive usage to ensure continued performance.
