Technical Overview of the V8 LS3 Radiator by GPM

The TRAXXAS TRX4 V8 LS3 Engine Radiator by GPM is engineered for precision thermal management and long term durability. An integrated temperature sensor controls the high speed fan automatically, providing a rated airflow of up to 3.25CFM when triggered. Structural components are aluminium and stainless steel for stiffness and corrosion resistance, while the black, heat resistant ABS shroud and exhaust pipe protect serviceable areas.

Chassis Fitting and Clearance Notes

When fitting to the TRX-4 Defender remove the manifold side to achieve necessary clearance for the intake and route. The original body post crossbar will require trimming to prevent contact with the intake pipe. These modifications preserve mounting geometry and airflow path.

Front Mount Integration Advice

For front engine configurations the manifold is removed and the radiator is mounted directly to the original damper mount and fender surfaces. Recommended hardware includes the GPM Racing #TRX4028 front damper mount or similar flat style mounts to align left and right manifolds and maintain secure attachment.
