Technical Overview for Traxxas TRX-4 Underside Protection

The GPM TRX4ZSP16 skid plate kit uses engineered polyurethane to protect the Traxxas TRX-4 undercarriage while preserving scale appearance. The package includes front and rear skid plates to guard structural areas from impacts and abrasion.

Polyurethane construction provides a balance of toughness and dimensional stability suitable for trail use. The rear subframe profile is designed to align with the chassis geometry to maintain a factory look and secure mounting.

Compatibility, Installation, and Service

Intended for the original TRX-4 body shell; D90 and D110 variants require minor trimming for fitment. This kit is compatible only with the original TRX-4 side steps and will not fit GPM #TRX4014 / TRX4014X side steps. Installation requires common hobby tools and basic trimming for non-original shells.
