The TRX4018FAN is a precision-engineered motor cooling kit for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler style vehicles, featuring a machined 35mm aluminium sink and a top-mounted fan to control thermal build-up during prolonged low-speed operation. The assembly includes the fan lid, adapter and stainless fasteners to interface with standard 540 motor cans.

Compatibility: designed specifically for 540-size motors, the kit uses the supplied plug adapter and 3x16 stainless flat head screws for secure mounting. Installation requires removal of the motor endbell where applicable, seating the heatsink on the motor can, securing the fan lid and connecting the fan to an appropriate 5-12V source on the model's electrical system; verify voltage and polarity before powering.

Engineering note: the TRX4018FAN is intended to manage steady-state motor temperature under crawling loads rather than changing gearing or electrical output. Proper installation improves thermal stability and component longevity without modifying motor performance characteristics.
