Precision 12mm Wheel Hex Adapters

This aluminium wheel hex adapter set is engineered for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler applications and is identified as model TRX4010/12MM. The adapters increase hex thickness to 12mm (+6mm) to move wheel mounting faces outward, reducing radial and lateral play at the hub and widening track for improved low-speed stability during technical crawling.

Components are machined for accurate fit to standard TRX4 wheel hex hubs and are compatible with front CVDs and rear drive shafts that accept wheel hexes. Installation follows the stock wheel mounting pattern and uses the supplied fasteners and shims to establish correct axial preload and clamp. These adapters are intended for model use on TRX4 Trail Crawler platforms only.

Technically, the thicker hex reduces the gap between the hex and wheel bore, which improves contact area and reduces micro movement under load. Fit these parts to fine-tune handling, reduce wheel hub slop, or to pair with wheels offering increased backspacing for a wider stance.
