Spare tyre support for TRX4 Mercedes

This 1.2mm stainless steel spare tyre support is an aftermarket component for the spare tyre area of TRAXXAS TRX4 MERCEDES-BENZ 1/10 crawlers, engineered to retain and locate a range of spare tyre diameters while avoiding any implication of full-scale use.

Vertical adjustment is achieved via the screw on the hook, delivering approximately 10mm of usable travel to accommodate differing tyre sizes. The main plate is 1.2mm stainless steel for corrosion resistance and dimensional stability. Assembly comprises two stainless plates fastened with fixed screws and locknuts on each side; gold-coloured screws and shims are supplied to assist setup. Note that precise alignment may require drilling or reaming of mounting holes.

Installation procedure: position the mount within the spare tyre bay, perform a test-fit with the chosen spare, set the hook screw for the target clearance and torque the locknuts. Use the included 2.5mm drill bit to open mounting holes where necessary, and verify free suspension travel and body clearance prior to final torqueing.
