Precision Front C-Hub Upgrade

This 28pcs brass front C-hub kit by GPM is an aftermarket replacement engineered for TRAXXAS TRX4 trail crawlers. It installs between the front gearbox and knuckle arms to join the steering assembly and provides a rigid platform for altering damper height and tilt to fine tune suspension geometry. The kit supersedes the original linkage mounting points and includes hardware selected to increase service life while allowing configurable damper positions.

Technical highlights include CNC-style brass C-hubs used as structural members and ballast, stainless steel king pins that replace the factory plastic pins for reduced flex and consistent pivot action, and a set of aluminium collars with matched screw lengths to control damper clearance and mounting elevation. The package includes both round and flat head stainless screws to accommodate different collar stacks so builders can set damper angle and tie-rod routing without fabricating custom parts.

Assembly notes: the unit mounts between the front gearbox and knuckle arms and requires replacing factory pins and screws. Tie-rod attachment uses 3x18 round head screws (2 pcs) at the original damper tie-in; damper mounting screw selection is determined by collar count - 0 collars 3x14, 1 collar 3x16, 2 collars 3x18, 3 collars 3x20 - enabling stepped changes to damper height and tilt. Each brass hub contributes roughly 49g of additional front mass when fitted, which should be considered during setup.

For workshop-minded TRX4 builders seeking a robust, weighted front mount with repeatable damper positions, this GPM brass C-hub kit delivers engineered replacement hardware and configurable collar and screw stacks to refine axle geometry and on-trail behaviour.

Included are two brass C-hubs, four stainless king pins, assorted stainless flat and round head screws in the listed sizes, and six aluminium collars, totalling 28 pieces for direct replacement assembly.
Adjust damper height by stacking aluminium collars and selecting the corresponding screw length: 0 collars = 3x14, 1 collar = 3x16, 2 collars = 3x18, 3 collars = 3x20 for incremental height and angle changes.
The king pins are stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance and improved wear characteristics versus plastic pins; regular inspection and light lubrication will maximise service life.
Each hub adds roughly 49g to the front axle, increasing traction and stability on technical terrain while slightly altering steering response; factor this into spring and damper setup when tuning.
