This scale V8 LS3 style engine radiator is produced as an aftermarket upgrade for TRAXXAS TRX-4 Defender builds, featuring a machined-fit aluminium main body, stainless fastenings and a black heat-resistant ABS cover and exhaust. The assembly includes a high-speed fan fitted with a welded temperature sensor to provide automatic thermal control in the motor area.

Installation detail: overall dimensions are 52mm x 63mm x 71mm and the unit is intended for motor-area mounting. When installing on a TRX-4 Defender the stock manifold must be removed to clear the intake pipe and the body-post crossbar trimmed for alignment. For front-engine conversions the radiator can mount to the existing damper mount and fender, although a flat-style front damper mount such as TRX4028 or an equivalent may be required to clear both manifolds.

Operational specification: the welded temperature sensor operates the fan at roughly 35C and resets near 25C with a tolerance of +/-5C for each threshold. Fan airflow is approximately 3.25 CFM (+/-10%), and the welded sensor/fan is supplied as an integrated switching unit for straightforward installation.
