This 2pcs steel 10T pinion set is engineered for TRAXXAS TRX4 TRAIL CRAWLER applications, model TRX4010T. CNC finished from hardened steel #45, the gears are specified for motors with a 3.175mm centre bore and 0.8mm tooth pitch to deliver consistent gear engagement under low-speed, high-torque loads.

Engineering and fit: the pinions are profiled to mate with 32 pitch spur gears at a 10-tooth count; confirm spur geometry and motor shaft dimensions before installation. The assembly includes the 3x3 screw shaft required to clamp the pinion to the motor shaft in many TRX4 motor configurations for direct replacement.

Drive characteristics: altering pinion tooth count adjusts the transmission ratio, affecting torque multiplication and top speed. For demanding crawling lines a reduced tooth count increases wheel torque; ensure correct mesh, axial clearance, and secure fastener torque to maintain service life.

Maintenance and inspection: deburr motor shafts, verify precise seating of the 3.175mm centre bore, and torque the fixing screw to a controlled setting to protect the shaft and teeth. Perform an initial inspection of gear mesh and retorque the fixings after the first running session.
