Adjustable F/R damper mount for TRX4

This 16-piece aluminium adjustable front and rear damper mount assembly is supplied to provide firmer support for stock dampers and incremental ride-height adjustment for TRAXXAS TRX4 chassis setups. The machined aluminium replaces deformation-prone plastic mounts and gives multiple mounting positions to alter damper geometry and elevate chassis clearance where needed.

Assembly follows a direct hardware sequence: orient the 3x6x2 aluminium collars as shims between the damper ball ends and the mount, insert the specified round-head screws from the rear face, then torque the 3mm lock nuts on the exterior. All small components required for retrofit are included, enabling installation without modifying damper bodies.

Performance and setup guidance: the upper mounting positions deliver approximately +6mm relative to the factory location, while lower indexed holes can increase ride height by roughly +18mm compared with stock. Note that such lift changes suspension geometry; adjust tie rod length and steering centring to restore proper axle orientation. Given the increased centre of gravity, recommend pairing this upgrade with wider track or broader hex hubs to maintain lateral stability during steep crawling maneuvers.
