This 12pcs upgrade set is a front axle replacement intended to increase the service life of the Slash 4x4 front end while preserving steering geometry under sustained impact loads. The design pairs hardened 45# steel mating parts with CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminium components to deliver repeatable fitment and controlled weight distribution.

Technical highlights: CVD shafts use hardened 45# steel engagement surfaces together with 6061 T6 aluminium housings, and the knuckle arms are machined from 6061 T6 aluminium for improved dimensional stability. The central axle section is increased to 6mm to absorb high-energy landings, and spring steel hexes reinforce the hub interface under shock loading. Bearings supplied are chosen for smooth, reliable wheel-end rotation.

Installation and setup recommendations: the knuckle arm features multiple tie rod positions to allow fine-tuning of ackermann and steering throw for different tyre diameters or suspension setups. During fitment confirm correct spline engagement and bearing seating, and perform an alignment check after break-in runs. The combination of hardened steel interfaces and a thicker axle section reduces the risk of permanent deformation and helps maintain consistent steering feedback.
