Precision low-CG shock set for Rustler VXL

This 44-piece GPM shock kit replaces factory dampers with shorter, aluminium-bodied shock units designed to lower the centre of gravity and sharpen handling on TRAXXAS platforms. The set includes front and rear shocks, a variety of spring lengths and collars, and the stainless steel hardware required to tune ride height and damping without modifying the chassis.

Preload is adjusted by the top spring retainer screw and spring rate is selectable using the included 2.6mm and 2.2mm wire springs. Assembled lengths are specified as front 75mm and rear 80mm to achieve a lowered stance; some configurations can bring body clearance down to approximately 6mm depending on shell and wheel setup.

For Slash variants the reduced body height can risk tyre contact; the kit supplies aluminium collars to space the body posts from the shock mounts. Vary collar thickness to alter shock angle and clearance, using front 8mm/rear 12mm for taller settings and front 12mm/rear 16mm for the lowest positions as initial references.
