Precision aluminum fixed gear adapter for RUSTLER VXL

This two-piece aluminum fixed gear adapter is a purpose-made replacement for TRAXXAS RUSTLER VXL motor mounts, designed to stabilise pinion placement and permit fine motor-to-spur pitch adjustment. Machined from aluminum 6061 T6, the adapter provides a rigid mounting face compared with stock plastic parts and aids heat dispersion around the motor mounting area.

The component features five indexed mounting positions labelled A, B, C, D, E that allow incremental changes to pinion-to-spur spacing without modifying the gearbox or motor mount. Selecting indexed holes enables precise mesh tuning to reduce binding and maintain consistent engagement under load. Supplied as a 2 pcs set to cover both mounting locations where applicable.

Installation is a direct mechanical replacement at the motor mount interface and is intended for use with existing motors, pinions, spurs and fasteners; no additional adapters are supplied. Maintain a clean mounting interface and verify gear mesh across full suspension travel during fitting to ensure stable, repeatable operation.
