Precision centre drive for Rustler VXL applications

The RUS4025S centre drive shaft is a CNC-friendly replacement component designed for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL platform, intended to transmit motor torque through the chassis with reduced failure risk. Material callouts specify 304 stainless steel at the axle joint interfaces for corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance, combined with a 6061 T6 aluminium shaft body to optimise strength-to-weight performance.

Mechanical notes: joint cross sections are increased versus standard parts to reduce stress concentrations during high-load operation, and the aluminium body supports multiple surface finishes for integration into tuned builds. Fitment uses existing Rustler VXL mounting points and hardware; verify gearbox clearance and spline engagement during installation.

Perform a trial fit to confirm alignment with the Rustler VXL gearbox and driveshafts, check O-ring seating and fastener torque, and monitor joint wear during initial runs to validate reliability.
