Precision fuel tank protection for Revo

The TRV089 aluminium-alloy protector is a CNC-friendly design intended as an aftermarket reinforcement for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo 3.3 nitro chassis. Machined geometry provides a rigid barrier to shield the OEM plastic fuel tank from direct impacts and road debris without modifying fuel fittings or plumbing layout.

Mounting is via the supplied fasteners in the 1pc kit and follows existing tank attachment points for straightforward installation or replacement during scheduled maintenance. The protector maintains service access to fuel lines and connectors while adding structural support beneath the tank envelope.

Functionally, the component reduces the likelihood of tank deformation that can alter fuel delivery and engine consistency, and it enhances chassis stiffness around the tank mount to preserve alignment under load. Fit checks should include exhaust routing and suspension travel to ensure there is no unintended contact.
