Precision stainless skid plates for TRAXXAS MAXX chassis protection

This 36-piece stainless steel skid plate set is engineered to install below the front, centre and rear chassis areas of TRAXXAS MAXX monster trucks. Components are supplied with machine-friendly finishes and hand-polished surfaces to resist corrosion while protecting impact-prone panels.

The kit contains a range of plate geometries together with gold-coloured screws and multiple shims to achieve accurate alignment with factory mounting holes. Fitting follows removal of original fasteners, plate positioning, shim selection for correct offset, and replacement with the longer screws where required for secure stacking.

Designed as sacrificial wear parts, the stainless plates protect plastic and composite sections on the chassis underside and are suitable for tuning setups where durable contact surfaces are preferred. Note the added stainless mass is concentrated low on the chassis and should be accounted for in balance and suspension tuning decisions.
