The TXMS162S set is a direct-fit steering link upgrade specified for the TRAXXAS MAXX chassis. It replaces the factory front tie rods to provide a firmer steering connection and improved corrosion resistance while maintaining correct ball end geometry for RC use.

The kit utilises a high-tensile aluminium alloy in combination with stainless steel fasteners to deliver a balance of stiffness and long-term rust resistance. Turnbuckle-style components employ opposing threads so overall length is altered by rotating the centre body, allowing precise toe and track calibration without removing the links from the vehicle.

Installation is aimed at experienced hobbyists and technicians: remove OEM links, verify ball end spacing, fit supplied turnbuckles and screws, then adjust lengths with the vehicle on its wheels to achieve neutral steering geometry. Verify thread engagement, lock set screws where provided, and confirm steering travel after assembly.
