This 12 piece aftermarket assembly is engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX MONSTER TRUCK drivetrains, prioritising mechanical durability and setup flexibility. The unit replaces a cross-head style joint with a CVD swing joint to improve angular load transmission while maintaining existing drivetrain geometry.
Materials and geometry: a hardened steel joint is combined with a 6061 T6 aluminum body and the axle diameter has been increased from 6mm to 8mm to raise torsional capacity. The adjustable components permit fine tuning of suspension linkage behaviour and toe change under load. Compatible 8x16x5 bearings are supplied to match the revised shaft diameter.
Service and installation: intended as a drop-in where CVD interfaces are specified for MAXX models. Install using supplied bearings and fasteners, observe correct set screw torque, and verify unhindered rotation through full suspension travel before operational use.
