This 10pcs drive shaft assembly is a precision aftermarket upgrade for TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck platforms, intended for front or rear drive positions and wheel mounting points. The design replaces a cross-head joint with a constant velocity swing joint to provide consistent torque transmission under high loads while minimising rotating inertia.

Material selection uses hardened steel for the joint coupled to a 6061-T6 aluminium body and an increased axle diameter from 6mm to 8mm to enhance torsional rigidity without excessive mass. The hex adapter uses a claw-style engagement and omits the pinhole to yield a firmer mechanical interface with the wheel hex, resulting in a 2mm per side track increase.

Adjustability allows fine tuning of driveline alignment and suspension geometry. The kit is supplied with bearings and shims matched to the larger axle to simplify installation and avoid sourcing additional bearings.
