Technical Overview of the +3mm Hex Adapter

This aluminium hex adapter is engineered to interface with TRAXXAS LATRAX SST wheel mounts and is supplied as a matched pair. The +3mm offset shifts wheel position outward to change effective track width while preserving the original hub architecture.

Designed for aftermarket replacement of the factory hex, the adapter is intended for hobby model car applications. The aluminium body reduces mounting compliance relative to common plastic hexes, aiding consistency of wheel position under load and supporting setup tuning.

Prior to installation verify wheel hex dimensions and the wheel nut or retainer style on your wheels. Standard installation replaces the original hex with the adapter and refits wheels using existing fasteners. Observe normal RC service procedures and inspect fastener security after an initial evaluation run.
