Engineered Oversized Motor Base for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO (8S)

This precision upgrade is engineered for 1/6 TRAXXAS Funco Pro and compatible XRT chassis running 8S power. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, the component provides a stiffer mounting platform than the original polymer part, improving clamping rigidity, alignment tolerance, and thermal stability for high-power 56mm motors.

The rear clamp uses a bundled tension adjustment to preserve axial preload under torque, while the side screw bosses feature a V-shaped step to reduce the risk of screw back-off under sustained vibration. The mount accepts motors with a 56mm outer diameter; the manufacturer references HobbyWing 5687/5690/56118 and Castle 2028 as example fits. As the part supersedes the stock plastic gear protection, installation requires a larger gear protection cover compatible with up to a 28T/1.5 modulus motor gear to maintain gear protection and clearance.

All specified fasteners are included and partially pre-assembled to ensure correct hardware selection; medium-strength thread locker is recommended when finalising torque to secure clamp preload.
