Precision-engineered carbon steel bevel gear set

This 6-piece aftermarket gear kit is engineered for TRAXXAS E-REVO internal gearboxes, manufactured from carbon steel with nitride case hardening and precision helical spiral cutting to provide improved surface hardness, controlled tooth geometry and enhanced wear resistance for reliable drivetrain performance. The components are intended as direct replacements for worn inner ring and pinion bevels, improving mesh consistency and reducing localized fatigue when installed with correct bearing alignment.

The set contains a 29T ring bevel and an 11T pinion, both 1.0 module, and includes stainless steel flat head screws for secure mounting. The helical bevel profile and surface treatment reduce the risk of pitting and help to preserve tooth form under typical RC torque, making the kit suitable for precision upgrade and maintenance workflows.

For best results, check mesh and backlash during installation, ensure bearings and shafts are within tolerance, and secure mounting hardware to maintain precise alignment and prolong gear life.

Verify bearing fit and shaft straightness, confirm 1.0 module compatibility, and clean the gearbox to remove debris before installing the new gears.
Tighten screws progressively to a firm hand torque that secures the gear without distorting the housing; recheck mesh after final torque and after first run.
The nitride case hardening improves surface strength, but for higher power applications confirm the rest of the drivetrain components and bearings are upgraded to handle increased loads.
Maintain proper mesh, use suitable gear grease, inspect for metal debris, and replace bearings or fasteners that show wear to keep the gears performing as designed.
