This hard steel gear set is made for differential assemblies on TRAXXAS 1/10 Slash 4x4 and other listed 1/10 TRAXXAS 4WD models. The kit contains 4 steel replacement gears that substitute softer metal or plastic originals to increase wear resistance in high-torque brushless setups. The design preserves original tooth profiles and mesh geometry rather than changing gear ratios or clearance settings.

Installation notes: inspect bearings and housings for wear before installing, remove debris from mating surfaces, and apply a light gear lubricant during initial break-in. Set backlash and tooth mesh under load, then re-check and tighten retaining hardware after the first few runs.
