Precision Front Dampers for TRAXXAS Rustler VXL

The GPM RUS4087F/L front shocks are engineered from 6061 T6 aluminium to provide a robust, lightweight damper body for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL. These units are designed to reduce internal friction and better manage pressure cycles, delivering more consistent compression and rebound characteristics. The L-shape piggyback reservoir increases oil travel distance to stabilise damping across varying impacts.

Technical Features

  • 6061 T6 aluminium construction for improved tensile strength and weight efficiency.
  • Supplied with high concentration suspension oil to maintain consistent viscosity under load.
  • Interchangeable spring coils: Silver (1.5mm), Orange (1.6mm), Gold (1.7mm) to fine tune ride height and response.
  • 4mm thick, polished shock shaft for enhanced surface hardness and wear resistance.

Service and Fitment Notes

When fitting, orient the L-shape piggyback inward to eliminate contact with the vehicle shell. White Delrin washers are installed outside the metal ball to preserve correct articulation and reduce side load on the ball joint.
