Precision 17mm hub upgrade for Traxxas applications

The TJ010-5MM hub set is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminium to replace stock 17mm hubs and increase track width by 5mm. These 17mm hex adapters are engineered to sit between the knuckle arm and wheel, enlarging the contact area with 17mm splined wheels to reduce slippage and minimise hex rounding under higher loads.

Rated for 2S operation only, the hubs accept both 17mm splined and standard 17mm hex wheels, supporting a range of wheel and tyre combinations. They are designed for compatibility with Maxx-duty axles used in #9080-series Extreme HD upgrade kits and will fit Maxx-duty drivshafts with 6 mm axles.

Installation is intended as a direct replacement for stock hubs on supported Traxxas chassis, using the supplied 17mm hex interface; standard hand tools are sufficient. From a setup perspective the 5mm widening yields a predictable change in lateral stability and cornering behaviour, aiding tuning when fitting wider tyres or adapting handling to different surfaces.
