This aftermarket CVD drive shaft set is aimed at hobbyists seeking a stiffer, more direct drivetrain solution for Tamiya CC-02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 projects. The design replaces conventional cross axles with constant velocity swing joints to reduce driveline lash and improve torque transmission to both front and rear hubs.

Construction uses alloy 6061-T6 in lower-load sections and hardened steel at pivot and pin interfaces to offer a calculated balance between rigidity and rotating mass.
