Precision adjustable stainless linkage

The SSB024A tie rod is an aftermarket, RC-scale servo linkage developed for Team Losi SUPER BAJA platforms to enhance steering durability and enable micrometric length adjustments. The central shaft is CNC-quality stainless steel while the ball ends are POM to combine corrosion resistance with impact energy absorption appropriate for demanding hobby use.

Length adjustment uses opposite-threaded terminations so a clockwise or counterclockwise rotation produces controlled axial movement, facilitating toe-in/out and steering-centre calibration without dismantling the steering assembly. The component is designed to interface with standard threaded servo arms and steering knuckles used on the SUPER BAJA chassis, simplifying installation and setup.

  • Included items: Tie rod - 1pcs
  • Included items: Stainless steel round head screw 4x20 - 2pcs
  • Included items: Stainless steel lock nut 4mm - 2pcs

Engineered for hobbyists who require precise steering geometry and robust corrosion resistance in scale setups.

This item is compatible with

  • TEAM LOSI Super BAJA REY 4X4
A stainless shaft provides tensile strength and rust resistance, while POM ends deliver low friction and good impact resilience, improving longevity in mixed environments.
Secure the steering assembly, then rotate the rod to adjust length in small increments while checking toe with a gauge or by measuring wheel alignment until the desired geometry is achieved.
Inspect threads and POM seats after heavy runs, clean the stainless shaft to remove grit, and replace POM ends if visible wear appears to maintain reliable steering behaviour.
