Motor mount engineering and heat control

This precision 6061 T6 aluminium motor mount plate is engineered as an RC-scale replacement for Team Losi Mini-T 2.0 2WD installations. It locates at the motor bay to reduce motor movement and accelerate heat conduction away from the can using the integrated fins. The CNC-friendly alloy material enhances stiffness and thermal performance compared with standard stamped plates.

The component features three discrete mounting positions to change the motor offset. Altering motor position adjusts pinion-to-spur pitch, allowing accurate gear mesh setup and improved drivetrain alignment during tuning and high load runs.
