The GPM LUX135R rear double section spring dampers are CNC style aluminium upgrades for the TEAM LOSI 8IGHT-X Super Lasernut Brushless Buggy. Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium, they are intended to increase structural rigidity and provide consistent damping under heavy loads.

Mechanical improvements and materials

A hardened 5mm shock shaft replaces the stock 4mm shaft to reduce deflection and extend service life. The dual-stage spring arrangement minimises permanent compression and preserves damping characteristics. The unit has a 135mm centre length and is filled with 1000cSt silicone oil for controlled rebound behaviour.

Serviceability and setup guidance

Spring preload is adjusted via the supplied retainer to refine ride height and spring rate quickly. Components are supplied pre-assembled where practical; apply medium-strength screw adhesive to metal fasteners to maintain clamping force during high load cycles.
