TT02B Front Damper Plate - Technical Upgrade

This alloy front damper plate is supplied as an aftermarket upgrade for the Tamiya TT02B platform. Fabricated as a single-piece front shock tower, it replaces the factory plastic tower to provide a stiffer, more consistent mounting surface that helps reduce variability when setting up the front suspension on a TT02B chassis.

Installation uses the existing TT02B mounting points and hardware: remove the stock plate, align the alloy tower with the original holes, and secure using the factory fasteners. After fitting, verify shock alignment, steering linkage clearance and full suspension travel to ensure there is no binding. The component is intended as a tuning reference to produce repeatable shock locations and camber measurements rather than as a direct performance claim.

From a setup perspective, the stiffer mount enables clearer feedback when altering spring rates, damper oil viscosity and upper mount positions. Perform controlled validation runs and adjust settings in measured increments to quantify handling changes and dial in desired response.
