Precision alloy steering replacement for TT-02

This precision alloy steering assembly is an aftermarket replacement for the Tamiya TT-02 platform, designated TT2048. The set replaces common plastic steering link components with alloy parts to improve rigidity and reduce deformation under hobby driving loads. It is supplied as a single set for front-end repair or tuning work.

Installation requires removal of the stock steering arms from the TT-02 knuckles and the servo horn, re-using compatible ball studs and link hardware where applicable, and installing the alloy components. Verify fit and clearance during trial assembly to prevent binding and to ensure correct steering articulation. This part is for scale RC applications only.

The component is intended to refine steering response and durability rather than modify suspension geometry. Use post-installation checks to confirm smooth travel across the steering range and to monitor servo current draw under normal operation.

Transfer existing ball studs, screws and any bearings that match the alloy parts; confirm thread type and length to avoid interference with steering travel.
Assemble without final torque, cycle the steering through full travel by hand, then power the servo at low throttle to observe for binding and recheck clearances.
After fitting the alloy links, monitor servo current and endpoint settings; stiffer linkages can increase load and may require minor servo adjustment.
