Urethane buffer for controlled impact

This urethane foam bumper is supplied as a replacement buffer for the Tamiya TT01 chassis. It is intended to absorb low-energy impacts and reduce the load transmitted to body posts and chassis elements on 1/10 scale touring vehicles.

Fitting follows standard procedure: remove the original bumper and secure the foam unit to the existing bumper bracket or factory mounting points on the TT01. The foam is engineered to deform under low-energy contact and recover, so verify that the installed unit clears steering components and allows full suspension travel.

As a passive component the bumper influences initial contact dynamics and minor rebound characteristics during slow collisions. It is intended for use where consistent cushioning is needed during testing and light-impact scenarios. Inspect for permanent compression or structural damage and replace the unit when cushioning performance is reduced.
