Precision front damper mount for TB04

This aluminium front damper mount is an aftermarket upgrade designed for the Tamiya TB04 platform, model TB4028. It replaces the factory front mounting point to provide a stiffer, more consistent attachment for the front shocks used in TB04 touring configurations.

Engineering notes: the mount locates the front dampers and transfers dynamic loads between the shock assemblies and the front bulkhead or tower. Compared with flexible stock mounts, an aluminium base reduces deflection at the damper interface, helping maintain consistent damper geometry during suspension travel and while adjusting preload, damping and ride height for setup work.

Service and installation: intended for standard TB04 front damper layouts, this part fits with the chassis original hardware. Remove the factory mount during basic front-end maintenance, install the aluminium unit, torque fasteners evenly and verify damper alignment and full suspension travel prior to competitive or extended running.

Designed for the conventional TB04 front damper arrangement; confirm shock eyelet spacing and tower layout match the standard TB04 geometry before fitting.
After installation, check damper alignment and perform a controlled test run to re-evaluate preload, damping and ride height as the stiffer mount may alter fine tuning needs.
Use the original chassis fasteners, apply even torque and inspect mounting points after initial use and after impacts to ensure continued correct alignment and fitment.
