Technical Overview of the TB04 Knuckle

This CNC-inspired aluminium front knuckle arm is offered as a precision aftermarket upgrade for the TAMIYA TB04 platform and is supplied as 1 pr for 1/10 on-road applications. It is designed to provide a rigid steering interface at the wheel spindle and steering link anchor points, helping to reduce unwanted flex in the steering assembly.

Functionally, the knuckle locates the steering pivot and influences toe and camber behaviour through suspension travel. Replacing the original component with a machined aluminium unit alters structural stiffness and the part-to-part interface, which can improve repeatability when fine tuning suspension and steering geometry.

Installation requires checking the TB04 mounting points for alignment and free rotation; test-fit to confirm clearance around the steering linkage and wheel hub before final assembly. Supplied as 1 pr (pcs).

"1 pr" denotes a matched pair of knuckle arms, intended for left and right front mounting positions.
Verify the TB04 mounting geometry, confirm pin and screw clearances, and ensure full steering sweep without contact before final torqueing.
Periodically check fastener security, inspect for wear at the spindle interface, and confirm alignment after the first running session.
