Technical Rear Shaft Description

The T3023SR/7MM assembly is a precision rear wheel shaft kit developed for the TAMIYA T3-01 DANCING RIDER chassis. It transmits drive from the rear gearbox to the wheel hubs and is intended as a direct-fit replacement or as an upgrade to increase torsional stiffness and hub retention.

Construction uses a one-piece stainless steel shaft for improved rigidity and wear resistance, combined with 7mm aluminium hex adapters that are secured by screw shafts to reduce adapter slip under torque. Stainless steel M4 locknuts with straight gear thread maintain consistent clamping force on the wheel assembly. The components supplied match the service items below and are selected to stabilise drivetrain behaviour and ensure repeatable wheel positioning on the T3-01 platform.
